By educating ourselves, we are empowered through knowledge, wisdom, sharing and understanding. Further insight into menopause allows us to find strength to better cope with this often major change in our lives and we can then see each other and ourselves with new found empathy, love and support. It is important to know that whilst we are all navigating our own unique and individual journey, we are not alone during this often lonely menopause path.

What to Expect
Megan from Four Seasons Yoga along with lifelong girlfriends, Sally Nicholson and Kylie Porter-Wright feel honoured to host this event to bring women together at whatever their stage of their menopause journey, whether it is surgical menopause, peri-menopause, menopause or post- menopause. Women need to know they are not alone, and that reaching out for help and just wanting to talk about how they are doing should be encouraged and supported.

Megan will guide you through a Gentle/Restorative Yoga practice incorporating guided breath-work and a short guided meditation. These practices work to calm your nervous system allowing you to find peace and calm in both your body, mind and soul. All of which can be tested to their limits during menopause.

After morning tea we are greatly honoured to welcome Tracey Yeend – RN/RM Natural Medicine Practitioner to share her wealth of knowledge and experience with us all with plenty of time for questions and answers.
Tracey Yeend is a Registered Nurse / Registered Midwife and
Natural Medicine Practitioner with 36 years of experience in many
facets of health. She has other qualifications in Pharmacology and
Teaching. Due to extensive clinical experience in many areas of

for 16 years. She also presents at many professional seminars,
conferences and community events.
Sally will then provide us with a delicious home cooked lunch to share. A chance to chat casually and openly with women going through this menopause journey. After lunch we are very honoured to have Dr Jessica Floreani from Aware Women’s Health share her wealth of knowledge and experience with us all with plenty of time for questions and answers.
Dr Jessica Floreani BSc (Biomed Sc) BMBS FRACGP DCH Cert S & amp; RH is a GP with a special interest in sexual and reproductive health and has worked in Adelaide for over 15 years.
Jessica consults as a specialist Women’s Health practitioner at Aware Women’s Health and is a medical educator at SHINE SA where she is involved in teaching and training of doctors, medical students and other healthcare professionals.
Jessica has spent many years caring for and educating women at all stages in their reproductive life and in particular is passionate about assisting those navigating perimenopause and menopause.
After our afternoon tea, our lovely group of women will then be separated in to 2 sharing circles to share your own experiences and perhaps what has worked/what hasn’t worked for you. You can share as much or as little as you like and you are welcome to just listen. These circles are non-judgmental and we all hold space and give support to one another. For so many of us we just want to be heard and our feelings and experiences validated and normalised.

We then come back together as one beautiful group of empowered, supported, listened to women to close this special day together.

Upon leaving you will receive a list of podcasts, books and websites on menopause to take home to then listen to in your own time.

Knowledge is power and the more we can listen to and read about Menopause the more we can understand and make the best choices for ourselves, of course, along with guidance from your medical provider.

We are very excited to share, support, educate and empower each and every-one of you at this very special Women's Day Retreat.
